Each year the Marines of Machine Gun Platoon, Anti-Terrorism Battalion work hard to reach out to the communities of Western Mass in order to make the holiday season a little happier for the children in our area.  Through the help of many local businesses and orginizations, media, and volunteers we collect and distribute over 100,000 toys within Western Massachusetts.

Machine Gun Platoon is stationed out of Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee, MA.  We provide assistance in the counties of Berkshire, Franklin, Hampshire, and Hampden.  During the months of October through December our Marines and volunteers will be collecting new toys from our many drop off sites throughout the region with one goal in mind...to provide a brighter Christmas for disadvantaged children in our area.  But we can't do it alone.

If you would like to help out all you have to do is bring a new, unwrapped toy to the nearest drop-off site, all toys donated in this area will remain here.  Drop-off locations will be updated regularly on this website.  Throughout the campaign there will be a number of events organized by Machine Gun Platoon and our many sponsers and partners, you can keep up to date on all events by clicking on the link on the right hand side of this page.  We hope that you will join us in letting the children of Western Mass know that they are not forgotten.  Please remember that everyone deserves a little Christmas.
